Whilst making my way up the west coast of the south island of New Zealand, I got a lift from a pair of local punk coal miners. Skidding through dirt around blind corners of semi tropical coastal road listening to strange country rock and smoking with these two is something I could never forget. We made it, said goodbye and I got pointed down towards the beach.
I didn't really know where I was but I kept walking until the sun began to go down, and this is where I took this photo. In the morning I carried on and did not see a soul, as odd as it was amazing.
